Our team in France is partnering with Rudy's Kids Foundation, created by Rudy Gobert, a French basketball player in the NBA. This partnership, which began with Kellogg Company and continues with Kellanova, aims to develop the Rudy Gobert Academy, launched at the start of the 2021 school year, thanks to the support of Nike and the city of Levallois-Perret. This educational program, developed in collaboration with the Etendart association, promotes the practice of basketball and the discovery of other disciplines such as creative arts and citizenship awareness.
The Rudy Gobert Academy is aimed at middle school students and activities are provided on the Rudy Gobert field, located in Levallois-Perret. During the school holidays, about 750 young people from all over the France Island are welcomed during 12 weeks of courses. The program includes one hour of basketball per week and the opportunity to discover a second activity such as boxing, theater, computer design, English and even learning about food balance with Kellanova France.
Kellanova France joins the Academy's partners with 60,000€. The program includes four weeks of internships around culinary training that will be offered to young people. The idea? Help them discover good eating habits, taste and nutrition.
Initiatives such as this are part of our Kellanova Better Days™ Promise to advance sustainable and equitable access to food, including supporting and promoting active lifestyle programs.
